OFFF Oeiras'09 - Dia 2
The second day at OFFF was, in my opinion, the best of all. I didn't go in the morning, arrived during the presentation of Champagne Valentine, but I couldn't see or hear well from where I was so I went for a walk around the festival. Ended up spending some time near a giant touchscreen where the participants played the old Space Invaders with spounge balls that they threw at the screen... Fabulous!

Robert L. Peters, designer for more than 40 years, did a spectacular talk in which he mostly talked about his "Maxim Ditum" that, in my opinion, can be applied to lots of things in life, not only design. Anti-war activist and a convict environment protector, I felt connected with his way of looking at the world. A Sir with a big S! He got a standing ovation, the only one I saw in this festival.
OneSize, Motion Graphics, fizeram o vídeo para o OFFF. A apresentação deles foi apenas o Making Off do vídeo.
OneSize, Motion Graphics, they did Offf's Sponsor Titles. Their presentation was only the video's Making Off. I liked it, but ended up being a little boring.
Next in line was PES, owesome doing small movies using every day objects, without special effects. He also showed a making off form his movie Western Spaguetti. All done frame by frame. Spectacular.

Well done!
At last, the most waited guy in the festiva: Joshua Davis showed up, and didn't dissapoint the near 3500 spectators. Insane, plain nuts, what he showed is not very different from last year's (in fact, most of the slides were the same), but his joy and energy captivate anyone, and the audience felt in laughter many times in his hour. Well done!
